Terms of Participation
Beauty of Finest Curves · Version of 1 September 2026
These Terms of Participation (the “Terms”) govern every contest run under the house Beauty of Finest Curves on MissCurvy.com (the “House”, “we”). They apply to applicants, contestants, voters and all registered users. By registering, applying or voting you accept these Terms, the House Guidelines and the Privacy Policy. The version published on the day of your action applies.
1. The contest
1.1 Beauty of Finest Curves is an annual, country-by-country model contest. Each country contest (a “Contest”) has its own season year, application window, selection stages and live rounds, all published on the Contest page.
1.2 The Contest is operated by MissCurvy.com (see Imprint). It is not affiliated with, sponsored or endorsed by any social network on which it is promoted.
1.3 The House may open, pause, extend, shorten or cancel a Contest where required by law, for integrity reasons or by events beyond its reasonable control. Published dates are indicative until the relevant window opens.
2. Eligibility
2.1 Applicants must be natural persons aged 18 or over on the day of application. Proof of age by government-issued identification is required during the selection stages.
2.2 Applicants must hold citizenship of, or lawful residence in, the country of the Contest. Holders of more than one citizenship may apply to each such country — never more than one application per country per season.
2.3 The following may not apply: employees and officers of MissCurvy.com and its affiliates; persons holding a MissCurvy Associates grant (Agency, Ratings, Casting, Judgement, Photographer, Special) for that season; house photographers; and members of their immediate families or households.
2.4 The House may refuse or withdraw any application that does not meet these conditions, at any stage, including after crowning.
3. Registration and account
3.1 One account per person. Accounts are personal and non-transferable. You are responsible for keeping your credentials confidential and for all activity under your account.
3.2 You must provide accurate information and keep it current. Accounts created with false information may be suspended or deleted.
3.3 The House may set an account to Inactive or Blocked for breach of these Terms; blocked users may not register a new account.
4. Applications
4.1 Applications are made only through the Apply to Contest form during the published application window. Applications received outside a window are placed on the Waitlist and considered for the next window on the applicant’s confirmation.
4.2 The application requires personal, contact and measurement data, a written story, four photographs (full length, half length, portrait, free) and one introduction film of no more than 60 seconds.
4.3 All information must be truthful and complete. Body measurements must be actual measurements; photographs may be colour-corrected but not altered in body shape, proportion or skin texture.
4.4 Submitted media must not contain nudity, minors, third-party brand logos or trademarks, or content that is unlawful, defamatory or hateful.
4.5 An applicant may withdraw her application at any time before the Live Contest of her Contest begins by written notice; personal data is then deleted in accordance with the Privacy Policy.
5. Selection stages
5.1 Applications are reviewed in four stages: Agency, Ratings, Casting and Judgement. Each stage has a published start and end; a decision may be changed only within its stage window.
5.2 Reviewers act as independent MissCurvy Associates under confidentiality obligations. Reviewers see anonymised profiles (age, measurements, story and media) and never the applicant’s name or contact details.
5.3 The Judgement stage scores each contestant against a published set of questions (0.0–10.0). The Final Score is a weighted combination of the Judgement average and the Associates rating, the weighting (house default 51% / 49%) being fixed per Contest at its creation and published on the Contest page.
5.4 At the end of the Judgement window the scoreboard is locked. The twenty highest Final Scores enter preparation; sixteen enter the Live Contest, four remain in reserve in rank order.
5.5 All selection decisions are final and not subject to appeal. A contestant who withdraws or is disqualified is replaced by the next contestant in rank.
6. Live Contest and voting
6.1 The Live Contest consists of head-to-head battles in the rounds Top 16, Top 8, Top 4 and Top 2. Each round has a published start and end. The contestant with the greater number of valid votes at the end of a battle advances; vote counts reset at each round.
6.2 Registered users may cast one vote per battle per calendar day (00:00–23:59 in the Contest’s published time zone). A vote may be withdrawn and re-cast within the same day. Voting closes automatically at the round end.
6.3 The following are prohibited and lead to the annulment of votes and the disqualification of the beneficiary where attributable to her or her agents: purchased votes; automated, scripted or bulk voting; multiple accounts; incentivised voting (prizes, payment or services in exchange for votes); and interference with the voting system.
6.4 The House may suspend voting or rating on a contestant or photograph while an integrity review is conducted (“Close Vote” / “Close Rating”) and may reinstate it. Such measures are recorded in the audit log.
6.5 Users may rate, favourite and comment on contest photographs during the Live Contest. Comments must be respectful; the House may remove comments and block users under the Voting Integrity Charter.
7. Winner, title and Best Photography
7.1 The Top 2 battle determines the presumptive winner. The House confirms and announces the winner on the published Winner Date. In case of a verified integrity breach the House may crown the other finalist.
7.2 The title “MissCurvy [Country]” is held for one season year. The House may withdraw the title for breach of these Terms or the House Guidelines, or for conduct that brings the House into disrepute.
7.3 Prizes, if any, are described on the Contest page. Prizes are personal, non-transferable and not exchangeable for cash unless stated. Taxes and duties on prizes are the responsibility of the winner.
7.4 The Best Photography award recognises, for each contestant, her official photograph rated highest by the audience during the Live Contest, and credits the contestant and the photographer of that photograph.
8. Media and intellectual property
8.1 You retain ownership of the photographs and films you submit. You warrant that you own them or hold all rights necessary, that any photographer has consented to this use, and that no third-party rights are infringed.
8.2 By applying you grant MissCurvy.com a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free, sub-licensable licence to reproduce, adapt (crop, resize, colour-correct), display and distribute your submitted media and name in connection with the Contest, on the site, in the Live Contest, the galleries and archive, the House’s social channels, press and promotional material, for the season and thereafter in the archive.
8.3 Photographs and films produced by house photographers for the Contest (“Contest Photography”) are owned by MissCurvy.com. Contestants receive a personal, non-commercial licence to use their Contest Photography with the credit “© MissCurvy.com — photograph by [Photographer]”.
8.4 The names MissCurvy, Beauty of Finest Curves, House of Fashion Curves, the Curvy Angel mark and all site content are the property of MissCurvy.com. No use is permitted without written consent, except sharing of contest pages via the site’s share functions.
9. Conduct
9.1 All users shall treat contestants, associates, staff and other users with respect. Harassment, discrimination, hate speech, threats, sexual content and defamation are prohibited.
9.2 Contestants may promote their participation freely but must not misrepresent results, the House, its partners or other contestants.
9.3 Breach may lead to removal of content, suspension or termination of the account and disqualification from the Contest.
10. Liability
10.1 The House provides the Contest and the site with reasonable care but without warranty of uninterrupted availability. To the extent permitted by law the House is not liable for indirect or consequential loss, loss of opportunity, or damage arising from the conduct of other users.
10.2 Nothing in these Terms limits liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, for fraud, or any liability that cannot be excluded under applicable law.
11. Changes, governing law
11.1 The House may amend these Terms for future Contests. Changes do not apply retroactively to a Contest already open, except where required by law.
11.2 These Terms are governed by the law of the House’s seat (see Imprint), without prejudice to mandatory consumer protection rights of your country of residence. Disputes are subject to the courts of the House’s seat, unless mandatory law provides otherwise.
11.3 Contact for questions on these Terms: privacy.bofc@misscurvy.com.
